Today was the first day of school for Bulgarian students! It was quite the celebratory day. Most of the students bring a flower or bouquet for their class teacher so it is quite the beautiful event. I wish we received this many flowers in the U.S.A. in one day. This is definitely one piece of culture I love here in Bulgaria, the amount of flowers at special occasions (though you better give an odd amount of flowers, even numbers are for funerals)!
